Crime Prevention

CCTV systems act as a powerful deterrent for criminal activity, including theft, vandalism, and trespassing. The visible presence of cameras on your site or in your building can significantly reduce the likelihood of criminal behaviour by at least 13% according to a UK based study.

Monitoring Staff & Visitors

CCTV allows you to maintain oversight over your premises, ensuring both security and productivity. Whether monitoring staff access or ensuring visitor safety, CCTV provides continuous, reliable monitoring.

Insurance & Compliance

CCTV helps meet various insurance requirements and compliance regulations. Some insurance companies even require CCTV to be installed to qualify for full coverage, and it can also help mitigate the cost of claims.

Commercial CCTV Systems We Install

IP CCTV Systems

IP CCTV systems are connected via a local network to a central hub. At Stalwart, when we install an IP CCTV system we do so with a dedicated secure network to reduce the load on your local internet network and as well as secure the CCTV feed from malicious intent. These systems offer high-resolution video, remote access, and scalability, making them suitable for businesses of all sizes. IP CCTV systems provide flexible and reliable video surveillance that grows with your business. Whether you’re securing a single store or multiple locations, IP CCTV can scale and adapt to your needs.

HD over Coax Systems

HD over Coax systems provide high-definition video delivered over traditional coaxial cables. This type of system is great for upgrading older analogue systems, allowing you to reuse existing coaxial cabling while providing a much higher-quality video feed. The installation or integration of this system is easy as it’s essentially plug-and-play, so you can get your cameras online quickly. While this system is incredibly reliable, our team is available 24/7 should you experience any issues.

Commercial CCTV Solutions

Our commercial CCTV solutions are fully tailored to your business, whether you’re running an office, shop, warehouse, hospital, or school. We provide high-quality cameras that can be integrated with other security systems, such as access control and intruder alarms, offering you a complete security solution. We use the latest hardware and software to provide reliable, top-tier surveillance that meets the specific needs of each type of business.

Client Success Story

A client approached us with a challenge: they had 65 sites across 26 counties, each running on different CCTV systems. They needed a unified solution to link all sites and systems to a centralised hub, allowing their facilities management team to monitor all locations from one place.

We successfully redesigned their system, integrated all their CCTV cameras, and created a single, streamlined monitoring solution. You can learn more about how we solved their problem and delivered a tailored solution in our case study.

FAQs

The main difference between IP CCTV and HD over Coax CCTV systems is that with IP CCTV, the video feed is transmitted over the internet while with HD over Coax the video feed is transmitted over coaxial wiring. Both systems provide a high quality and reliable video feed and are simply suited to different properties. For example, if installing cabling at your site is difficulty then we would recommend installing IP CCTV over an HD over Coax CCTV system.

CCTV is not a necessary component of owning or running a business in Ireland however it is useful tool for deterring theft and crime as well as keeping your property, and more importantly, the people who work on your property, safe. A CCTV system can also be useful for insurance purposes, and some insurance companies may even require security cameras depending on the industry or location of your business.

CCTV system servicing depends on the type of technology used as well as where it has been installed. For example, security cameras that have been installed outside may need more servicing than those installed inside or in a protected area. Stalwart offers scheduled maintenance to ensure your system continues to operate at peak performance.

When it comes to CCTV systems, GDPR compliance relates to signage and how the data those video cameras capture is stored. When we install video surveillance systems for our customers, we advise on the proper signage needed on their site to comply with GDPR. We also set up GDPR compliant storage systems for all the data the cameras collect. If you are interested in learning more about how GDPR affects CCTV, you can read more here.
